I'm a huge fan of incubus since they started because of their great and meaningful lyrics and music. Hope this thing will make sense.

I hear you on the radio
You permeate my screen.
It's unkind but...
If I met you in a scissor fight
I'd cut off both your wings on principle alone
On principle alone.

Hey megalomaniac
You're no Jesus
Yeah, you're no fucking Elvis
Wash your hands clean of yourself, baby, and
Step down

If I were your appendages
I'd hold open your eyes
So you would see
That all of us are heaven sent (There was never meant to be only one)
And there was never meant to be only one
To be only one

You're no Jesus. You're no Elvis. You're no Jesus. You're no Jesus. You're no Elvis.
You're no answer.

Step down4x. Hey

NOTE: "... you're no fucking Elvis..." means "you're no fucking (KING) - consider Elvis as KING of rock and roll. Just pick up the word KING.

Time to break my silence how dismay I am

Philippines my country, Mindanao where I belong, Davao City my city. I've been so silent about what's happening in my country thinking that it's not part of my concern or "I have nothing to do with it" and I just have to be focus on myself, on my future. But I can't remain silent forever. I feel so deeply disappointed of my country. Someone asked me, "Are you proud of being Filipino?". I just replied "I am just only proud of being a Dabawenyo (Davaoeño)". The only reason why "I WAS" proud of being Filipino is because of what heroes did. Sometimes I just wish I was born on 1800's, those heroes generation coz that's the only time I am 100% proud of my country, have the guts to wave my hand and to shout out loud I AM FILIPINO!! -- but the saddest part there's no such heroes like before in my generation today. Leaders are so power hungered, so much care in their personal interest. Just like what INCUBUS wrote in MEGALOMANIAC song. Perhaps our national heroes are also disappointed, sometimes I can say to myself what heroes done are no longer respect.

Sorry to say this but I hate politics, I just love my fellow citizen and I'm just proud of our leader here in davao.

What happened in maguindanao is so depressing. It's a big wake up call to everybody. It's all over the world, all over CNN, reporter said IT'S TOTALLY BRUTAL AND A VERY HORRFYING STORY.

My foreigner friend knew about phil. history, he heard everything on what's going on in here and so he said this to me "I'M SO SORRY TO TELL YOU THIS BUT YOUR COUNTRY IS AMAZINGLY RETARDED" and I just said "YEAH", I'm speechless cause he's right.
